DAMMIT SO CLOSE! Thought I was gonna be first.
Im the biggest fan of metal slug ever! Like every arcade, it should be free! No money slots! Woehahaha

Ill upload the maps later. Its just a diffuse map.

I started with the metal slug logo, base colours, occlusion, than some photoshop filters for the side red thingys, added dirt. Quite detailed though, it's not rushed.

Zero Cool - MK3 Arcade Game

Here is my Mortal Kombat 3 Cabinet! One of the best arcade games that use to be out there.

I first just through a base grey color on there. I used some brushed to scratch it up. I then filter < dark clouds, then filter < noise. After the base was on I just used a white brush to give the edges some war eon the cabinet. After that I just hit Google for some images of Mortal Kombat. Then I blended the images, and put some age on the pictures.

I used 2 maps.

1024 X 2 : Diff, Normal

Hey, another Metal Slug fan here, god that game is pure awesome. Took me over the time limit to do, for a total of 105 mins, but I don't mind because it's my first ever texture, had to learn a few things along the way. All I have is a 1024x1024 Diffuse Map for it. Any comments/crits would be appreciated as it is my first texture.

First of all, I went and found some reference images, then I just worked in sections, starting with the base colour then adding in references and other stuff. Finally, I added in some shadows.

Also, I agree with Armanguy, this competition was alot of fun to do.
