im really in love with the entries of:

El_Electron - pure awesomeness, comes out a bit dark tho and the only thing bugging me is tha its glowing highlights are blue and green instead of using only one of those tones for both, but thats just me xD

Wowoz - works so damn great without any fancy ornaments, it makes me want to grab it and shoot the next best target

Cerisier - original style and colorful which is much harder to sell, but it really works for me

I3yG-MaK - cool detailed grungyness (but with an uncommon light rose feel in its colors somehow, most noticeable on the wood)

still have to decide which one of you gets it >_> ofc im also in love with my own entry but voting is public and shit haha so ..

next up in my personal ranking (mostly based on visual impression) would be the ones of Xoliul, Jedaith ,gusss, enochian, Latka X-treme, rode,.. ok i hope i didnt forget one cauz those not mentioned had most likely something minor or major that didnt sell the product to me somehow

and like always there are the ones making me sad cauz the textures are so much better than its presentation (lighting etc) f.e. the entries of yassine4d and somu01 - i´d suggest to put more effort into that part

Thanks Kyo and thanks for all the votes everybody.

For me it was very close between Kyo and Cerisier. Both are fantastic textures but Cerisier's just inched it as i felt it had more of a steampunk feel to it.

My other favorites are rode, Xoliul, Jedaith, Wowoz and gusss. So many great entries, really glad i participated. Will be on the lookout for future compititions, good format and a great community.

Big credit goes to Marcus Aseth for the top quality model.

At least I know I still have much to learn about artistical texturing. But again, I didn't spend too much time for it, however it's nice to see so many and so different approaches.

So many great entry's it was tough to choose! It's so good to see how many people have joined in, can't wait till the next one

My personal favourites where: Marcus Aseth, I3yG-MaK, Cerisier and El_Electron,
but I3yG-MaK got my vote as I felt the mix of the matt wood and shiny metal works really well.

El_Electron I love you design and the detailing on the barrel but overall it just feels a bit to slick and shiny. I think a gloss map would have really finished that off.

damn, took me 15 minutes to decide. there's plenty of decent textures here.

My favourites are:
Kyo
I3yG-MaK
Cerisier
El electron

in the end I3yG-MaK got my vote, as I liked his idea for the texture most.
Presentation could be better though.
on the other hand i love the presentation of Kyu's texture, lighting is awesome on this one.
