Critique very much welcomed and appreciated.

I wanted to go for something different, for the tree trunk I decided on a love heart carving and a drawing for the stone. The texture really needs some normals and spec. tho I had time, my pc doesn’t allow high quality in view port (as always)

crits plz.

That's creative, but your materials need more detail. Do some more work to them to get a better effect out of them. Right now it looks like you just slapped a photo onto your texture, and it's very noticeable.

Well, I lasted for about 100 min, then I couldn't really be arsed anymore and left it as is. I'm not gonna enter the actual competition, but perhaps you can get some inspiration from it:

Tiros thats sick and also your screenshots always look awesome. Do you know if there is a brief tutorial on how to use Doyles 3ds viewport shader in Maya? I know ur supposed to flip the normals but thats all i know.
