I can't vote, but I second the general opinion that Minotaur's is the best. His repeats well, is pleasant to look at, has signs of wear and tear, but isn't excessive about it.
The 2nd best is pansburgh's second entry. It's only flaw is that the wood is too shiny underneath, too much specular there for rotted and dried out wood, it appears varnished instead. Stormy has a nice normal, but his specular is way out of control. Bricks have no shine IRL, paint does have specular and shine, even if it's dinged up, but at that level of scratchiness it appears that it would be without any hint of specular except on peeling upturned pieces. It's like giving brushed aluminum the same shine and reflection you'd have on polished aluminum, it's too much. But very nice selection of materials and normal map, so great job overall. |
