The poll ain't up yet, and probably won't be till later tonight. If you hurry you might still squeeze in there, depending on how good the moderator's day at work has been ;]

If it doesn't get entered, well, you'll still have had your modeling practice. I figure that's the aim of these threads anyway, beyond any e-peening right gained from getting voted for - not that that doesn't have it's merits.

For the Speed modelling challenge, you wont be able to use image planes for background detail, as textures are not allowed.

For the purposes of the challenge, we only accept print screens from your modelling applications viewport.

We don't have any set rules regarding polycount, so people can use as many polys as they like. Though I much prefer to see a nice, clean, game ready mesh, rather than something which has been meshsmoothed loads and is an insanely high poly.

You don't need to request permission to join, just post a picture of your finished entry in the corresponding challenge thread before the submission deadline, and it'll be included in the poll.

Just wanted to say cheers for those videos, I'm sure people will find them useful.

Unfortunately you are, however that doesn't stop you from having a go at it, just that it won't be included in the poll. I'd love to see people continue to work on their entries after the deadline and texture them, etc
