I think that all you guys are right actually. I think that it is really up to each artist to interpret the competition in their own way, and the same goes for the level of detail or polish that they choose to take their piece to. If one chooses to spend a little more on their design, and ends up with more of a sketch then that's great, and if someone chooses to leave more time at the end for cleanup..that's fine too. That being said, I also think that people should take such things into consideration when they post their votes. Just my two cents. Good luck all!!
