Ok, I see it how. Guess I was just early.

I'm afraid that I have somewhat of a complaint about this competition. It's not a really big deal, and I know that people are not really competing against anyone else, but I feel that the use of Zbrush/Mudbox gives a huge disadvantage over people that don't use it. I mean, people who don't use it pretty much can't win.

That being said, there are still some good (non-Zbrush) models submitted.

I'll bare that in mind. Personally I don't think it's that much of a big deal. That's kind of like saying someone who's really good at modeling has a huge advantage over someone who isn't so good.

I think the speed competitions are more about practice and learning, than actually winning.

@ swag: Yea I know what you are saying. But people should take it as motivation to learn . These types of packages are hugely important now days, I've been making characters in the video games industry for the past 2+ years and had mudbox out almost every day! Though perhaps in future competitions it would be good to have a little more time if zbrush and mudbox is allowed so people with little experience with such packages have more time to get used to it. It was definitely a stretch for me to get mine done in an hour.

On my opinion - modelling and sculpting are different things and sculpting requires a other chellange. Modelling and skulpting differ on so much, on how many differ modelling and texturing.
imho

Asmuel, got my vote as i feel he used the time the best and came up with the most visually stunning piece.

I think all modelers should know one program like mudbox or zbrush as they are need to get into the game industry in a number of job i have looked at. i am currently learning zbrush.

No doubt with it, Asmuel has the best piece and used efficiently the time limit.

Excellent piece man, very inspiring to see something like this made in 60mins time. I'm planning to start learning mudbox soon and this was just what I needed to see to motivate me. Well done.

There were many good entries this time, Asmuel stole my vote at the last minute.
