Speed Modeling Competition Rules:

- You have 60 minutes to complete the piece. This is all for your own benefit, so if you're only 80% done when the 60 minutes come up, go ahead and post that.
- You must submit a 800x600 [or 600x800] image that contains a shaded model and a wire model preferably rendered with GI. For a tutorial about GI/clay renders go here: Multi-Platform Clay Wip Renders

Add the following information on your entry image:
  • Your Name
  • Entry Name
  • Modeling Time
  • Triangle Count
- You must give us details on how you modeled it
- Textures are not allowed in the Speed Modeling Competition
- Multiple entries are allowed.

It was a little harder this time because I tried to make as many item as I could in the 60min I had. I made all the ones that I was planning to make... wish I had time to try some more... but... overall I'm happy with the result

To see how I made it watch the video
Enjoy!

the good old schweizer, very cool idea !

nice one, but some of the parts look like they dont fit into the knife.
but before i crit to much i have to do it by my own

Update:

Ive decided to make the nano one (about 4cm long)
the logo is a spline, the ring is a spring and the rest is primitive.
but at all i was very very slow
here it is:

I chose a easy swiss knife to do, so wasnt too hard. Just Maya playing up half way through

51 Minutes and 400 polygons,
Simple primitives, scaled, extruded, and split.

Hi!
Here's my entry:
I didn't get to make as many tools as I wanted (only made half of them). I think i spent too much time on the logo, even though I think it turned out nicely.
And I know there's a lot of n-gons...

Nice job guys
warape you're right about me entry... the parts don't really fit together I was in a hurry and I just placed them in a way that they all fit in the render It was a good modeling practice with bad planning You're entry is the opposite I see... looks accurate. Don't know much about this knife... just what I searched for today to make my entry... but I can tell you are close
myles you have a good entry too. The main body could have used a lot of work but the rest looks good.
Feld it does look a little strange being so big but having so few stuff on it The modeling is really good... just incomplete.
