Sweet model Zeinthar. The only thing I don't like that much is the slide, the rest is just so cool and interesting. A half-moon would have made a huge difference, sorry to say this
Just looking at the stairs in the middle I realize that this is pretty impressive for 60min.

![]() Time: 52 minutes Name: Vamediah ModelName: Thanatos! Detals: This was created with a bunch of boxes mainly. the holes in the walls where created with booleans (difference), the chains where sculpted from a box, one half then mirrored over and combined, then the sequence of chains where duplicated from a series of four links tured differently. The sand-bowl at the bottom of the chain is half a sphere (16x16), some verts where moved, and the handle for it is a modiffied cyliner, twisted and turned into shape. thanatos means "desire for death", this playground is not very safe and children would most likely get hurt playing in it. here is wireframe, i dont know how to render wireframe with maya so this is a snapshot: (any help with how to would be very appreciated) ![]() Last edited by Vamediah; 30-06-2007 at 03:37 PM. |

pretty happy with the results, now get some damn sleep xD ![]() this is a quik screenshot, i will post the final render tomorrow, im thinking bout some dramatic lightning with some long shadows or something like that xD anyway, i made it real low poly so that it could be placed in a game engine, (wireframe) http://img166.imageshack.us/img166/432/playgroundwirehv1.jpg |

Pretty simple... maybe you have Push and Wire material in Maya as well... that should solve the problem ![]() Impressive model I really like how everything is structured and all those little boxes and holes you have there.master_f that is not bad. The slide has some strange proportions and the shape can be improved though. Looking forward to some renders ![]()
