Good to see you tried again Thonz. Some things improved in this second entry. I like the cup now, the rest is ok but a little too lowpoly to give it a lot of shape, to make it more interesting. Anyway... nice progress.
BAROBA you have a nice entry there. The wire is a little hard to see but the shaded model looks good. The plate is a little small... and deep... or that cup is too big lol I like that the hamburger is flat... just like in real life I went with the commercials looks Nice one Andy. It looks too fat to be fast but the idea is cool. Maybe a better presentation would have made this look a lot better. You could have the shaded and wire model running against each other trying to make the finish line with the camera on the ground positioned after the finish line... dramatic angle You can play with this a lot. I also recommend a Matte/Shadow material for the background, it solves that problem where you can see where the plane you used as ground ends.

Good start. Make some more, place them in once scene, make a render and don't forget to tell us how you made it. I'm sure there are only a few people that know what hexagon can do

Hexagon is generally speaking a very young modeller created by Eovia, now owned by DAZ, still have some bugs that are been worked out, but the learning curve is very simple and it is very easy to learn. Also does UV maps (kind of few bugs still to work out).

That is good. I'm not asking for people to be creative here and original. There's no concept involved. I model something and post the video so that people that want to learn can watch it and make exactly what I make... It's not like you have to figure out how to do it... someone did it before you and you can learn from that. If one guy that knows just how to make a cylinder learns how to turn it in a cut from my video, I have a good week
![]() I also encourage people to be creative because most of the ones that have great entries already know their way with the app and it would be boring to make something that was already done... maybe you want to use it in your portfolio. If you're learning follow the example of the ones before you, they might know something. If you just want to have fun.... have fun ![]()

Yeah, me too. And thanks for the link
I use my mobile phone for this though. In the first challenges I used to model for about 30min and then stop because I though I was close to finish... I was wrong. Not I start the Stop Watch on my phone and check it once in a while... It helped me get close to 50min Most of the times I'm not sure if I want to add that extra something so I rather finished before the 60min in case I need a few more minutes for something else. It never happened... but... better safe then sorry ![]()
