Does anyone not think its abit weird that not only has gabman912 voted for themselves but 4 of the other votes they have received are from users that where created today who have not posted anything else in the forums

but you just joined and made your first post too.... today.

edit: also i am 100% sure that (in case there is any skepticism) gabman is not making multiple accounts. he's been basically right next to me the whole day.. and he's not a dick. :P

well again.. i know for a fact that myself, death-a-matron, lord paragon, ryuk, and gabman are not "cheating." i do find it odd that accounts are being made today and voting on this. but the 5 of us basically used this competition to give us a bit of a "boost" on getting weapons done we are using for a school project, so regardless of who wins we are all gonna be texturing our guns and they're all gonna be used. basically we just said that if any of us win, they have to start texturing right away.. which i dont think any of us want to do JUST YET.

but yea. again.. we're not cheating.. and if someone is... well... that sucks and its pretty upsetting.

That cool then, wasnt saying that anyone was cheating more that it was abit weird that so many people signed up and voted in one day. really hope no one is cheating as it really defeats the point of these

@ Ruddie - Agreed mate, it is a bit weird and I too hope there wasn't any cheating as it does make the competitions a bit pointless, I told anyone I shared this with to not register for the purpose of spam voting for me for that very reason

Finally decided on who I wanted to vote for, was a pretty tough decision.

@ mole420 - You dear sir got my vote your entry lived up to the cyberpunk theme well especially considering I wasn't a fan of the original concept work. You managed to get the model to a final standard in the allotted time scale and within budget, though I feel possibly some areas could have had a few extra poly detail like the screw on the handle. You also made a good use of the available maps, glow was well used and not overused, ao made it "pop" as Polygoblin so rightly said and I even noticed the sight was transparent which I'm guessing was an opacity map congrats, good looking model! *thumbs up*

Well done to all the other entries too, all sterling work!

Cheers for the vote i do think looking back now i could have added more detail to the model, and also could have gone allot more crazy with the design but wanted to make sure it would be finished in time as this is my first time entering. will be doing these allot more and hopefully going more crazy with the designs next time. I really liked your use of all the available maps aswell helped it bring out the detail.
