borgking got my vote. looks really great and seems like it would be fairly simple but fun to texture.

Lol, no it is not a joke. We have discussed the policy here and decided it may serve everyone's best interests if you had the option to vote for yourself from now on. We still have ways of telling if someone creates multiple accounts to vote. Many other comps also allow it.

Artists are suggested to make honest decisions about their vote, and to select their favorite, even if it's their own. After all, it's important to like your own work too

Ok, i will compile my thoughs on all the models:
1. rockstar6:
Well, i allready criticised this model when it still was wip. Also i recommend checking your smothing groups.
2. Zanrok:
Looks too simple, you could spend much more polys.
3. myself:
i simply cannot criticise myself, next one
4. Piflik:
Looks good mesh-wise, though ao/bump look way to noisy
5. naked_chicken:
difficult one, since obviously textures are missing. Also a real third part is missing...
6. penE:
clearly my favourite, great mesh, good normals.
7. talldrinks:
Do not mix up highpoly and crazybump! Also the barbed wire looks kind of chaotic, messy.
8. EyecyArt:
the pillar looks kind of strange. Also ao is not comming out due to the strange squares.
9. megalmn2000:
Looks great, but misses the topic.
Also breaking up the horizontal shapes with something vertical or even diagonal would be a massive upgrade the shape composition of the model.

Yeah, it's a new policy

But again, I stress that artists are encouraged to make honest decisions about voting. Honoring the quality of another artist's work is never a bad thing.

Voted for megalmn, too. Nice UV Layout and good bakes.

@ borking
Agree with your comments, canīt remark anything.
To your entry, just a solid model and bakes. Only thing would be some details. The Fences in my garden have angled metal plates holding the Pillar and the frame togehter and some caps on it tops.

I reached my goal, one Vote! And its not my own

I voted for Rockstar6. I judged all pieces on different points. For these competitions I always look for originality, style and time. rockstar6 already jumped out for me on originality and style. I know it won't take long to make it but I dig the style.

@ megalmn2000: I really like your model but I actually didn't see a fence in your model. To me there wall pieces. But great work.
