As I was hoping I managed to finish this today, since tomorrow I might be busy all day.

I grew up playing with this (lots of people did xD), so I decided to create a lego killer toy. While I was creating it a idea popped into my head mixing Legos and Duke Nukem. I searched the web for references and easily could find some Duke Nukem Lego characters and various weapons I thought that could fit my idea well and create a nice killer toy.

I added some normal map details by hand using the awsome nDo tool I found around here in the forums (here goes my big thanks for the nDo creator), those details normally would only appear in the diffuse map, but since only normal and AO maps were allowed I decided to add them in the normal map to give some personality to the character and I think that worked out well.

So, here is my entry.

Good look to everyone entering this contest, hope to see some awsome entries on this one

Well, shucks....

*edit: Post made 30 minutes before deadline, then quickly deleted until deadline passed. My apologies for any confusion this has caused.

Love the entry, Pollux! He would look awesome in my Lego bucket (and yes, I still have one). That would make a great Lego game. Great work, and congrats

It's a shame we didn't have more entries :/ I really liked this topic.

Feel free to make some suggestions for future topics HERE

If you didn't make it for this deadline, no need to fret, we are just now kicking off the next...

SPEED TEXTURING CHALLENGE!

Thanks Polygoblin, legos are simply amazing, I had to do something based on them.

I was afraid that I could be the only one finishing in time....I really liked the topic aswell and that's why I wanted to enter this one. Sadly only me and another member gave some feedback about his progress, seems like he never got to finish it .

But I think it's understandable, at this time of the year some people are already getting their holidays ready, others have even more work and the Dominance War is keeping some people busy.

Well let's see which competition i'll be entering the next.

Bah realised in the last hour I wasn't going to make it, without really rushing. So heres just a render of just the high, for some clousure.

Really hoping I can devote more time to the next one, gonna go grumble in a corner now

Well done PoLLuX on finishing though

@RedAppleIvy- That is very cool! Love the flamethrower modification. Quite an interesting take on a jack-in-the-box. Joker would be proud
