Yeah, post a screenshot of your model with baked ao and normals and a screenshot of the wires as well. Try to keep the screenshots a reasonable size too

Thanks Marcus!

I usually make b/w displacement maps with Illustrator, then split the mesh into pieces, and apply the displacement maps in ZBrush. Probably a better way of doing it, but it works well enough.

ty for the explanation

I think i have finished, the ao map that i have put on the diffuse slot is not 100% accurate becouse i preffer to leave that things for the texture contest,i have decoration to add in the normal but even this is for the texture contest so for now is good in this way
(even the adjust to the normal map in photoshop are postponed for the second step )

my final entry, The Bio-Rifle Archangel

Tris: 3884

Wow, Marcus. That's impressive work! Love the render quality, too.

The concept i showed earlier would have wasted too much poly's so I did a new one, it is a kinetic generation rapid pulse emitter.Kinda like the weapon from Minority report. The barrel rotates around the center part, so that is also where it gets its energy.

My wip low poly this far:

Fun theme for the competition.

Wip:

Hope I don't break any rules having those tanks(?), could always make some smaller ones attached to the gun.
