Nice model master_f. Very detailed, looks like you had time to put everything you wanted in there. Great job! Waiting for that nice render Make sure you put 2 models in one pic (wire and shaded)
RappyBMX that's just wrong

Looking good! Previously you asked how to do wire renders, check this site:

Great entry's so far everyone, very cool theme this one is and I had to participate. Here is the crazy fun (crazy by risking your life to ride it!) fair ride I did, it's called "The Zipper". This was a challenge for me as I was unable to finish near as much as I would have liked to in the 90 mins allowed. I will be going back to this one and finishing it up as I'd like to make a really cool scene of this thing fully animated. Hope you all like it even though it isn't complete.

Started out with the main frame piece with a poly box and scaled the verts into shape. For the main pulley in the center, made a cylinder and then a smaller cylinder and positioned it where it looked good then shift rotated the others. Attached the newly copied cylinders into one object then booleaned. Made the center arm that parents all the cars out of extruded poly, then made the large wheels on the ends by making a cylinder chamfering then deleting faces then bridging and capping. Made the light bulb out of a beveled cylinder then made copies and shift rotated them. I made the round frame that the car frames attach to from applying a bend modifier to a short rectangle until I had the right size then extruded the center then did a mirror modifier. built the frame and cars and copied and positioned them. Used a line spline to make the car then extruded. Added the drive pulley using extruded cylinder. Used a line spline for the belt that connects the two pulleys. I made the arrow decorations also using a spline and extrude modifier. Copied a light bulb over and started making copies then attached everything and shift copied the others and the mirror modifier. All this added a ton of unnecessary faces but looked cool.

Great model showNOmercy, really impressive ride. I'd love to see this animated... and more detailed as you said. You could have used a more dynamic pose for the render, like the one in the ref. There's a lot of stuff missing but it's a very detailed model, nice job for 90min of modeling.

My entry
A simple Carousel
90 minutes were just enough to make it

My workflow:
Started with a cylinder for the base, extruded/beveled it a few times to create the stairs.

Copied the top circle to create the roof from.
Extruded/beveled it to create the shape.
Added a cylinder for the flagpole.
Added a square for the flag, selected a edge and collapsed to created a triangle from it.
Then I selected the polyloop around the topedge and beveled a few times to get those indents. ( In some carousels there are mirrors in it ( only the real cheesy ones ) )

Added a box and made a horse from it
Added 2 boxes to create horse-ears
Added 2 cylinders to make the bars and base for the attachmentpoles for the horses.
Radialarrayed the horses to get 8 horses.
Copied one of them to in the inside, radialarrayed it, to get for more copies.
Then I selected 6 horses and moved them a bit higher then the rest ( you can barely see it on the renders)

Then I copied a circle for the base, scaled it and I used it as a starting point for the fence.
I beveled it inwards, deleted the circle. Then I was left with a ring of polygons.
I deleted a few polygons to make the opening in the fence
I then extruded it.
Then I added a cylinder, radialarrayed it around to make the poles for the fence.

Then I make a ball, radialarrayed it to make the lightbulbs.

Added a circle to make the floor.

Enjoy

Wow, horses I though something like this would be too hard to make in 90min It isn't very detailed though... but it's good enough to look good There's one thing I would change... all the horses are at the same level and this doesn't help give you the feeling that they are going up and down. You need to place 1 out of 2 a little higher

Look Out!

It's a Kamikaze! Here is my favorite fun fair ride from my childhood.. and now. I ran out of time and certain details are missing but what can ya do, I'll get better .

Here's how I did it (feel free to give tips on these steps or the weather [it's nice here if you were wondering]): I built the seats with some quick basic box modeling. Safety harnesses from cylinders that had been edited. Then built the car around them deleting where the open areas were and shelling the entire thing for thickness. The bars were from a plane that had been latticed to actually create the bars. I then made the vertical thingy that came from the top of the cab. Added the star and circle to it. Created the top piece that would have the name kamikaze on it if it weren't for my time running low. I built the base platform out of a box and then started putting lights on. Then I realized my time had about a minute left. But it was fun and good practice, enjoy
