Just blocking out the low poly and messing around with simple geometry to see what blends and what doesn't. I still haven't decided what other function it's going to have.

Marcus, do add the decorations in now, there's a reason you're allowed to use baked and tweaked normalmaps

kaizertech, I think we can let the tanks pass but consider the uv space needed for the tubes and that it looks like it's missin some sort if harness to strap them on (or a handle or something). Might be easier if you make them part of the gun somehow? But then again, it's about challenging yourself so go nuts

Im almost done with my chainsawcombo, just some work on the engine and triggers left.
Also some normalmapping left to do, and ofc lay out the UV

Nice one Marcus! Italy is GMT +1 so 23.59 GMT is 00.59 on monday (so very very very early monday) the 15th. So you have another day to play with it

Stop619, if you look at the image on the first page, it says 23:59 so one minute to midnight.

So here is my final entry:

The Kinetic pulse emitter prototype.
Reloaded by just a flip of the barrel, the KPE can wreak total havoc at low to medium range, displacing everything before it to a more comfortable position. Mind you several testers have been injured while testing(mostly due to the rotating barrel), it is a prototype so the problems should be resolved with the next iterations of the design.
It can also be used for self propulsion, but this can cause unwanted side effects.







I had no time to do the high poly so there's no normal map.
