Wow, it's been a while... I've been visiting this forum now and then, sometimes, but didn't participate that much, though there's some nice content here, and mostly in the spotlight articles section.
Well well well... now I'm slowly becoming a game designer, I started studying at animation mentor this year, and I'm also in musical scoring, plus learning some stuff here and there on the fly (mostly philosophy, psychology). So, here you go... A UDK scene I worked on a year ago : Another scene we made with a friend, last year. A big one, two sound designers and a composer participated. We've made a video out of it, showing the whole map (with the hangar and small construction site), but somehow fraps made it darker, and it wasn't the final version -> Link : Paintings - this year : Drawings - this year (2012) : Last edited by Valerien; 24-03-2012 at 02:39 AM. |

Hello Val, It's been a long time since I've talked to you and to be honest I now rarely post on this board because I have busy days... Although I'm used to browse quickly Game-Artist weekly.
Yet I post on your thread because I want to congratulate you for your work and above all your improvement ! I really like the last classical paintings and the lighting on these ones ![]() Geof ![]() |

Hi Geo. It's sure been a while. Check your pms.
New track on my cloud, a trip hop instrumental base. The mastering still isn't really good, along with several other aspects, but I still don't have both the skills and hardware in order to make something neat. And it goes on (Instrumental) |

Some awesome work here, mate! Those are some terrific paintings. How long did those last quickies take you? I especially like that line art drawing of the couple on the walk

I'm not in high school actually, but in college now (in both animation and music).
Dunno about the time each painting takes. I try to work in a fast and focused way, so I don't look that much at the clock. Several new pieces : ![]() ![]() ![]() |
