hey i need some help with projecting my hi res detail using the projection modifier and then the render to textue.wi think its because of topology errors.my low res may be to low and consist of maily quads.my low res is prop to low.

make sure you have good UVs on your low res mesh. overlapping UVs will case errors in render to texture.

Painting Metal From Scratch

so I'm up early in the morning and I decided to practice my texture painting skills. I wanted to see if I can create a decent blue metal texture from scratch with no photo overlays.

I'm looking for some feedback.
