I was going with a cast iron look for the hammer part. I probably should've desaturated that part and made it darker.

STC 42 Trunk & Stone

My entry for STC 42. my results are not all that great. my normal map my have to much going on in it. I think this one was really tough and I had trouble trying to get the right kind of detail for the trunk and the stone. Did anyone else have this problem? what were your solutions. Anyway....send some feedback my way.

from the beginning again

I'm trying to get back into sketching again. my hand got uncomfortable just after 35 minutes(how embarrassing). I think I haven't forgotten too much from the life drawing classes I took in college, or maybe I have. well I guess I have to start over again.

I think you might be spending a bit too much time on trying to make the lines look good, rather than just drawing a line and continuing. It's good practice not trying to brush too much, and eventually you'll get to the point where you really don't have to

The proportions and perspective seem a tad off in some places here, but, just keep on practicing. That's the only way to do it

/edit: Were refering to post #27. Another one poped up as I posted mine though. Were playing Baldurs Gate 2 while having your page open. So, for the new one, that's looking better. But still a lot of brushing. Also, I'm not an expert at breasts, but I'd say they connect a bit too far away from eachother in the centre of her chest
