And 30 saves, that're about 600mb each, that's a lot of filespace :P

I much prefer manual, iterative saving and keeping the auto backup at every 5 minutes.
LOL ..... I never had to go THAT high with polycounts yet. So maybe you have a point.

Yeah I agree. Also you can isolate and work, which you can't otherwise.

In case anyone's wondering, I've just gotten the most horrible school-assignment so far and just finished it. pheew...

So other than working on that wall, I've been doing this:

Not sure if it's anything spectacular really.. but being the first rig I've ever made, and having it work perfectly fine, and being well organised, I'm quite proud of it

More updates on that wall soon. And possibly I'll show some other stuff I've been working on inbetween. But until then.. Cheers!

/edit: oh, and if anyone wants to play around with it, just gimme a shout. Guess there might be a lot of free rigs online already though. And not sure if I can get this one to work for max, but it ought to work.

Well, I'm attending an education positioned in Blekinge Tekniska Högskola, a uni here in Sweden. The education is called Digital Graphics, and isn't actually held by BTH directly, they have like a small uni within the uni called "SOFE" ( School of Future Entertainment) cooperating with BTH. So it's pretty much the same school, while not at the same time. Not sure if you're able to follow

I gotta say it's a great education and I really recommend it. About 90% of the ones there pretty much didn't touch 3d at all before they got there. And after about 3-4 weeks, every single one had successfully made a playable character imported into UT3. And during this year we've already covered game texturing/modeling/UV'ing, we had a drawing module (which was really great.. even made me able to draw, lol ) we've also had animation, rigging, created a cellphone game and recently finished the "Game Concept Challenge" where we created a game during 7 weeks and got feedback from people from SONY's PSP/PSN, Microsoft XNA, Grin, Massive and so on. Not sure if I'm missing anything here.. but truthfully, it's a vey rewarding education imo.

This last project about rigging only lasted 2 weeks with 5 classes in total, all being about 3 hours long. And now we're all able to create a rig like that. So it's a bit tough , but I think that's a good thing really.

They have one education for Digital Graphics and one for Programming, both classes cooperate and pretty much create games aswell as having individual projects.

Damn, didn't notice I said so much already, now talk about commercial

Censored-: Sorry for not answering earlier, but were prolly intending to throw in some kind of model update there soon after. Seems like that never happened and I forgot about it

/edit: lol, forgot again, it's maya.

So, just to make sure people don't think I'm dead, this is what I'm working on currently. Not doing the art-test btw. Nor do I have the original concept and am working off of Doylle's with permission

Cheers!

Just as the name of the image inclines... 'getting there'

Just a fire extinguisher and the trailer arm bit to go.

It's really funny to see this being made by someone else, doing a good job there... :P

Small observation: the tube going from the jerrycan to the gass cansiter should actuall go inside the trailer. It's like an external supply setup. Very eager to see this one finished!
