you showed me this on msn the other night and I gave you some half assed crits, but I took a break from texturing to do it properly.

The main problem I see is some missing muscles, especially in the shoulder and around the outside of the pecs and the laterals. They dont have to be massively bulky but they should affect the shape more. Hope this is some help...

I wasn't realy sure if i'd put my "final" of the character on, i wasn't able to make all the changes ben suggested, and i realy don't want to give the impressiont that i'm ignoring them. Time just didn't allow me to do them, had to rush to get all the rest done as it was. However, i do plan to go over them when things calm down next week...

This is how it turned out:

I'm quite pleased with the results. The texture is a bit sloppy, had to rush it from the begin to the end, so there are quite a few places that i should probably clean up... tricount is around 9k

For such tights jeans he isnt sporting much of a package!,

also the neck looks slightly too stretched in my opinion like if he tried to look up he wouldnt be able to, also the adams apple seems alot long?
adams apple
best picture I could find to show my point,

apart from that I really like the style!

chris

p.s. he looks gaunt! thats the word I was looking for, not a crit just an observation but Im guessing you meant him to come out like that

Thanks guys. I'll try to get those things fixed...

In the meantime, i decided to go back what I originaly started with, mapping. It has been ages since i've done any of it, but preparing stuff for a UT3 map (DM). I have a floorplan more or less in my head, but that it still very very wip. The theme however is set. It's going to be an underground lab where they grow all kinds of vegetation.

sooooo, my first prop:

Can hardly wait to start on the diffuse...

I like it but i would replace the lego texture with possibly one of Game-Artist.net's sponor ads or something of the sort.

This could be very cool, Jeroen

Looking forward to seeing it come together.
