Scrolling shooter for Mobile

I'm thinking of making a scene based on a classic scrolling shooter.
So I will be concepting different environments for the shooter in the meantime.
Influences are Contra, Metal Slug etc.
Would also love the opportunity for people(coders/animators) to contact me and bounce some ideas for making this a possible mobile game.
