Sketchbook: Tom De Vis

Heya all, been a forum lurker of GameArtist for quite some time, so I figured:"why not join their forum and create a sketchbook".

I'm about to finish high school in 5months. Then I'll finally have some more time to spend on a drawing then the doodles I'm currently making.

Instead of searching for all my old work, I'm simply gonna post only things I draw from now on !

So let's get started.

A little creature for today :

and a fishy:

Sketch looks pretty awesome, looks like something out of mass effect. You trace over anything to make that?

@Iconoshaw: No, well actually yes, but that were my own rough lines. I used a similar technique that I use when drawing digitally with the blue pencil. But here I simply draw full 100% blue, put the opacity of the layer down and worked on a new layer in black.
Then I hid the blue layer and went in the line layer with an eraser to tighten the lines.

A sketch of a spaceship, this is more of a concept sketch for a student film we are currently creating! (there are a lot of problems to get permissions before being able to get shooting)

Been a while since I last painted, sometimes you need the right person to get you back on track!

I'm a fan of the girl painted. There's something about the facial expression and the the colors that fascinate me.
