Also the moss on the mossy brick wall is a bit to low res and lacks detail which gives it a mossy feel.
Thanks for the feedback I will try some things to give it abit more depth, it was actually the first time I tried to paint moss so I didnt have any brushes or techniques for that yet. I think Ill implement some moss in the next texture that Im going to paint to see if I can improve on that.

Been painting alot in photoshop for the past few days so here's another update:

Out of this set I think the first is actually the best, Im very satisfied with how the metal turned out. The green and blue panels both feel like their missing something but I cant figure out what...

I think it would be interesting to map some of these to simple planes and see how they tile. Take a step back from the tiny detail and see if they translate on a larger scale.

Alot of the time tiny scratches, etc become visual noise but can look OK up close. Something to think about.

Thanks for your reply, I will keep it in mind, allthough Im not planning on tiling these textures or use them in 3D, I paint them mostly to train my observation skills and because its fun

Its been a while since my last update, cause I just got back from vacation
Anyway this is some stuff I worked the last 2 days, a little bit different from what I normally do but it was fun

Nothing serious really, but just some stuff I wanted to paint at that moment.

More 2d stuff:

Did a few photo studies, I tried to not spend too much time on detail and more on color and composition.

And I also did a hand painted stone texture, feel free to give me feedback cause Id really like to improve on my textures.
