Double J Sketchbook

Hello all!

So I finally decided to make a sketchbook myself. I have been very busy graduating and still I didn't finish. I have a month or 2 to go, but in the meantime I am planning on making a portfolio website and make some more work.

To start this sketchbook of, I am working currently on a tower inspired by the movie Rapunzel. It's has 4679 triangles.

C & C welcome as always.

I like how each "same" piece is a bit different than the other. Gives some natural feel to it.

Thanks Jimi

Here is an update on the texturing. I am still sorting the normal map out for this stone texture, but it already gives the look I want it to have. I will make the stones stand out more like I want it.

C&C as always appreciated

Another update on this piece.

I am making tileable texture for this one so they could be used whenever it would be for an real project. It's coming along nicely I think.

hey, its looking good so far like the stone texture a lot. I am not sure about the rood and some of the wood on the stone some of the faces look pretty hard at the moment! Are they gonna be soften, the texturing may solve this, not sure yet!

So yeah keep it going looking forward to seeing what the rest will look like

That's because I exported to Headus UVlayout and imported it back in. It's giving the models hard edges and when I am going to texture those parts I am going to soften the edges on it.

Thanks

Hello again, time for some updates. I haven't been able to model much the last 6 months. I had my graduation project running. It's was time consuming. There was a lot of paperwork that had to be done, but I finaly graduated the 30th of november and I am now planning to get some models coming to show on my portfolio website.

So here it goes. I am now currently working on a small indoor scene. It will be an attic that is somewhat aging, like rotten wood, aging furniture and things like that. I layed out the base and finished the couch model.

Hope you like it. I can delete some faces on the model, but I kept in mind that the cushions could be ripped of the couch and lay on the ground or something. That's just something in case it's prior to do so.

Please leave some crit and comment.
