Red face Polygoblin's Secret Stash

In an attempt to move past being discouraged by my lack of pencil skills, I will upload some of my past work here. I am always looking to learn something new, so don't hesitate to offer feedback. I will continue to add sketches every once and a while, as I draw them. My pencil skills need alot of work, I know, and I figure that making uploads will help me dedicate as much time to my sketchbook as it deserves.

I will upload all kinds of works, not just the traditional ones. This is where I will show things that won't necessarily make it to my portfolio, but would still like to show

I'm only trying to improve Thanks for viewing

I am not really too fund of this style. As seen in the first post I believe you should do some human anatomy studies. The proportions are not how they should be.

I see potential, I think you will be much better within time. Keep this up and keep us posted.

Yes, I need to spend alot more time doing anatomy studies. It's just so boring to copy drawings from an anatomy book! I will have to find new ways to make it enjoyable, to help keep me motivated. My gf has been kind enough to model for some figure drawing exercises lately, so maybe more of that would do me good.

Thanks

Yeah that's always good. Maybe another idea is to go on the streets and draw people sitting in the park, laying on the beach or wathever, just to learn anatomy and poses.

I like the chameleon bounty hunter. The head reminds me of the alien characters in The Dig.

24-hour Gamejam Works

Recently attended a gamejam at my old Uni (Full Sail - Orlando). The idea was to get together with a bunch of indie game developers and create a fully functional game in 24 hours. However, no programmers showed up It's all good.

A room full of artists pulled together and designed a pretty sweet board game with all the restrictions.

Thought the theme of this thread was perfect for my contributions to the jam, since I din't get to use many of my main skills I did a portion of the game concepting, organizing, team-leading, and brainstorming. Mostly, I was responsible for all the avatar for the playable [board] players, and a few of the buff/debuff power-ups

Avatars (4 main gamer archtypes and a miner):

Power-ups (Buffs/Debuffs):

If you're into board games, I can fill you in on more details, and the rest of the assets. It's actually Twitter-based and quite fun
