so here is an update, havn't posted anything in awhile. Today's to-do is getting my foliage in order for the ivy climbing the building.
I am having a little prob with lightmass though, when i go into game-preview mode it seems to gray my scene a little. Any tips on good sunny outdoor lighting? Currently i have env color to a light blue, and i have a directional light set at about 1.2 that's also a lighter blue. any crits or comments are very very welcome. ![]() Last edited by turtlepaste; 05-03-2010 at 12:43 PM. |

well I just quickly tested lightmass but you should open one map available with the editor and copy the setting.
I am really not sure about the blue in the lightmass property, if it is working like GI in 3ds max, it should stay white. One blue direct light should work ( I also saw some random tuto with this blue lightmass but I thinks it is incorrect) The strange thing is that your left wall seems to have the same shading than your front wall... Do be honest you should play with the light property and the color correction into the world info propertie. (mid tones, etc, it works like most of exposure controls). You can also adjust your light angle for a more dramatic effect ![]() |

soo spent a couple hours tonight painting for a change! It was nice just going with it. Would really love some feedback. I had a bit of trouble with the coat, right now it is a very dull material but I want to eventually go for something shiny like a vinyl of sorts. Any tips would be awesome.

2d! awesomeee mate , though there are a few problems
the saturation is pretty high, the values need much, much more differentiation, also the compostition is pretty centered. >>>>>>>>>>> check this out<<<<<<<<< Last edited by vatsel; 29-04-2010 at 10:50 PM. |
