Good job. Jaw dropping, awe-inspiring non-organic modelling. How did you setup the materials and lights?

And what exactly is in the second picture? It looks amazing but I can't tell what it is.

Thanks. The material on the props are just the default grey with a very high spec value. The ground in the default grey just darker in value. I'm using 2 omni lights and GI

Here are some more props.

So guys i'm back with more renders. As you can see there will be a lot of panel designs, that i'll bend into new shape and combining panel designs together. I'm now working much more complex stuff like the doors, generator, and support beams.

This is awesome work.

Do you get all of the detail through high-rez modeling, or do you photoshop some of it into the normal map?

Right now all the models i've posted so far are High poly models, i'll making the LP models soon and baking out the AO and Normals soon.

thanks man ! i've really just started the high poly modeling.

So guys here is an update on the environment scene with a few more final concepts. Also here is a giant pillar with is about half way done. And here is a camera fly through of my temple scene with i made a few months back.

I love that generator, very complex detailing.

Are you just using max to make the high-poly models? And if you don't mind me asking, where did you get reference(s) for the details? I always find that getting a good reference for high-poly modeling can be hard.

Keep up the excellent work!
