Character Modeller/Texture Artist (LF: paid or unpaid work)

Hey, my name is Graham. I am a character modeller and texture artist, however I can model and texture environments, props, sfx, ect, if needed. I am just looking to add to portfolio and have a little fun. (Willing to work for money, royalties, or no money)
I am a graduate of the Art Institute of Vancouver - Burnaby with a diploma in Game Art and Design. During my studies I focused on developing my skills as a Character Modeller and Texture Artist. I was also modeller/texture and concept artist for the game production project "Bitt Warriors"; the first source engine mod at any Art Institute.

Qualifications:
-Advanced Diploma in Game Art and Design
-Proficient in Maya and Photoshop
-Team player who works well with minimal supervision
-Experience with Unreal 2 and source engine.
-Quality Assurance tester on 6 titles for Electronic Arts Canada (5 shipped)

I don't have a lot of experience with normal mapping techniques and sculpting tools like Zbrush/Mudbox, but I am willing to learn if those skills are needed.

hey man. i too am looking to enhance my portfolio. I am a concept artist. I have a cool idea but it isnt paid so most would be quick to say no.
Hows about i submit a drawing or two for reference, and you model then you can add the two pics for your portfolio and I can do the same. Say i send you a good idea for a weapon, you model it then we can call it a collaberation...TEAMWORK SKILLZ.
plus canadians are good at gaming...pure pwnage

Hi graham, im currently the lead developer for a new MMO Project being created from scratch, we are looking for some more character artists, the game name is MechTech the game is based off Robotic Battle suits, if you think you can create some for us the give us a shout. 2 of our current artists are doing work to get it on there portfolio and Resume so you wont feel like the odd one out.

Hello graham,
I think it would be a great opportunity for yourself to add to your portfolio the mod we are undertaking on the source engine. you say you are proficient with it and have used it in the past. Which is an added bonus. We would like to ask if you would consider joining us on a MOD development for HL2. Its a multiplayer mod which branches a bit from the original AvP2 pc title. We currently need some characters drawn up especially for the human military theme. If you would like to join us and help us out it would benefit us greatly and yourself in the respect of your portfolio.

We aren't a mod and we have a complete production pipeline so you wouldn't have to wait 2-3 months to see your characters in action =).
