Modeller/Designer looking for Mod/Game

I'm searching for a team that I can join to help me get together work for a porfollio. My main skill is modelling. I'm strong in all areas of modelling although I need to touch up my skills on some anatomy work. I can model characters, weapons, prefabs. whatever. Give me an idea or a concept and I will get it done, high or low polygon (my high polygon skills are not as practiced as my low, but same priciples).

I can unwrap fairly well and also have basic skinning skills. My animation skills are... not bad. But not very developed. I like to think I can model, skin and animate. But don't expect my skinning and animation to be as good as my modelling.

My texturing skills are very limited, I know priciples but have no practice. I can collect and edit photos to produce enviroment textures but struggle when it comes to texturing vehicles or characters.

I also have an eye for design. I enjoy coming up with new styles of gameplay. I'm a realistic person and generally know not to get over my head, even my MMO designs are realistic in a sense that it 'could' be made. Practically for a mod team I enjoy coming up with compeitive gameplay styles. I enjoy comepitive gaming and like to come up with dynamic new ways of playing games and achieving new hights.

Basiclly, I'm looking for a modelling positon where I can get to do texturing and animation also. I can also map in UnrealEd and Hammer, but I'm very very out of practice. I'm not looking for an already established mod or game with amazing work. Don't get me wrong that wouldn't be bad. But I would profer to team up with someone who has a bright idea or has extensive programming skills. Basiclly, I'm looking for a 'core' anyone who has been in a mod team or is in one will most likly know what that is without me explaining it. If you are that core and you need my skills please contact me.

Hey dude im working on a MOD at the minute actually standalone because its on Darkplaces, its a FPS Horror game and where in the need of a character modeler and maybe some props also... we have work to show.. but we havent gone public yet ;o so if u are interested send me ur msn or email and i will show u some work ... im a concept artist and do some texture work, the mod leader is also a very dedicated Coder.

Oh the main reason im asking you is because me and the coder are also wanting to get into the industry and we both do a games related course at uni. So we are wanting to make something finished to add to our portfolio.

The industry is just finally started to move on from World War II, I don't think I could deal with working on something based on it. Its a pitty really because it looks like the team has some talented people.

How about a Frontlines:Fuel of war based mod running the UE3 engine? I'm a dev for a new mod just starting up called Project Sawafi. This is a near future concept mod based in the middle east.
