Hi all,
in this week end I did the floor texture and I worked about the "reflections". Here some screenshots and two little test videos. ![]() ![]() ![]() http://www.3dlink.it/temp/contest/test1.rar http://www.3dlink.it/temp/contest/test2.rar I hope that you like them. Cheers! Marco |

I'm curious how you do the reflections ? Render the scene scaled upside down, beneath a translucent floor? Because I don't think you can do it any other way inside 3DS Max, unless you make them non-dynamic and bake them?
Also, too bad you already hit the polycount, scene feels rather empty now...

Hi guys,
for the reflections I created a specular geometry of the Ground floor and I put a trasparency on the floor. For now I didn't use normal maps, if I will have enough time free I will put them on the lions and the door (but not sure about this... my job take me alot of time). I know that the polycount is "high" but I did this scene for to have the max of quality without break the limit of 200K triangles. You will see this quality when I will post a good quality video (I hope it! Ahahah!) Yes all it is modelled no alpha maps I used here ![]() ![]() Cheers! Marco Lazzarini Marco Lazzarini |
