SFAM - Coridium

Hi all,

Well I'm currently trying to make a final decision, I am between X-men 2 and Aliens.

I have put a very quick reference board together of the X-men 2 idea. I think that I will go with this since there seems to be a lot of 'aliens' posts already.

Hope you guys like the ref...

My plan is to do it a bit more broken up than in these shots, more rubble and smashed things, but you never know might change my mind.

Goodluck everyone, looking forward to seeing what gets built.

Cheers
Chris

This is going to be one to watch. Nice references. Haven't seen the film but the atosphere of that scene looks ace.

Thanks Everyone, Pleased that you seem to like the scene. I'm really hoping to finish this but I have to be honest, work is so busy that this might not be possible, but I'll give it my best go.

Hoping to have images of the primitive uploaded later tonight/tomorrow.

Cheers for the support.

Ok so it ended up taking a bit longer than expected, partly down to work and partly down to Streetfighter 4, ops. Anyway it is really nice to see all the other threads progress, keep up the goodwork everyone.

I have just created a quick render of the primitive that I have created, the camera does not match the film shot exactly, nor does the environment there is still a lot of tweaks to be done, but wanted to post what I have so far.

This is only one side, there are obviously 3 other quite different parts to this room, i have those parts modelled as well, I'll upload images as soon as I have rendered them.

Cheers
Chris

Very nice! The environment you have so far looks really clean and nicely designed...If maybe a bit "too" symetrical. I would vary up the cables on the left and right to keep those subtle differences. Nicely done thus far!

I agree on the cables comment, make it a little bit more random!

aside from that, pretty stunning work you got here, please continue and show us more! I'm liking it.
