I have done some more assets but only captured one of them so far. It was a total pain to get this looking even remotely ok, transparent objects are a pain, lol. Enjoyed messing around with it, but it did suck up my already limited time, lol. Well anyways let me know what you think...

wow, simply wow!

I must admit that it is one of the nicest pieces of game art I have ever seen where a transparant object has been the main part of it. even though you think it was a pain to do :P

It looks really convincing. Killer texturing on all the stuff you have shown thus far. You should do a tut on your technique some time

Thats amazing, may I ask if you used a shader for that or is it smart work with the specular and opacity map?

Unreal can do distortion / refraction easily. It just takes a bit of effort to get it looking this good.
