Bit of an update.

We got pretty much of our modeling done. From here on in, i'm gonna be spending the rest of the week painting textures.

Budy is still working on the floor detail props, and buildings.
And lee is gonna have some fun painting some textures as well! :P

We had everything well planned to have everything finished by 29th March, but this competition time extension will be good for us as well. It will give us time to fine tweak the scene even more.

Here's another small update, some of the stuff you see in there is still untextured which of course still makes the scene look very weird but we're doing what we can to get this thing finished in time.

Buddy as been a really great help for us, he's been helping out with lot's of props and even in the overall lighting and scene tweaking, kudos for you bro!

Been a while we don't post anything. I've been very busy with some other stuff, but we're still in time to finish this! I'll submit out final entry next friday.

For now, here's a prop I've finished today, the windshield!

oh and here's the finished crane vehicle. unfortunately it was a bit rushed, still some smoothing groups error, and not very good texture but it will do.

omg. that looks like a movie shot ! i hope you guys finish this ! going great. really a pleasure to fallow your team ! but in my opinion you should look into that yellow'ish vehicle. im getting a feeling that sort of yellow doesnt suite the color pallete of the rest of the enviroment

Which one of them? the one with the tarp? Or the small one?

I think the black crane could use a lot more work in the texture and modeling. I mean I'm not really see much details in terms of accented edges wear and tear etc. Especially up close there could be a lot more detail either in the model or the normals. It just looks too simple at this point.

the shot with the tarp is teh bomb! I think you should ease up a bit on the coloration though, you have some nice texture work that's not being seen because everything is sooo blue

The deadline is getting close.

We've imported some new objects and made further tweaks with the scene.
