@ CrimsonBlack: you can use 1x4096x4096 for your diffuse, that is the maximum space you can use. how you use it (16x1024x1024 for example) does not matter. So you can split textures if you like...
@Addi: no, sorry. Please stick with 1 movie... @lefix: euh, we'll get back to you on that. but for an artist that should be the very minimum really... @ trowstuff: what engine do you have in mind? |

If I were to use the max viewport i could use any number of procedurals (gradients, noise, fractals etc) effectively for 'free'. (regarding texture pixel usage) I probably wont, now that i've chosen my subject, but would be good to know what the limitations are. ![]() |

heh, i know, i feel kinda bad about it :P and i keep spending all my money on other stuff like electric ukuleles. at least i have 2 of those tiny screens at home!
anyways, don't worry about it. i'll just be taking the screencaps at school or someone elses computer ![]() |
