They could be of anything. It would, however, be a good idea to match one screengrab with your main reference image, and then have the secondary screengrab supporting it. You will obviously lose points for grabbed views that're similar in content / angle.

Thanks a lot. I'll keep that in mind.

They're both acceptable, yes.

My point is that literally ANY 2 views would be acceptable. I can't expressly say which 2 views you should submit because of my position on the forum staff. It's really up to each team to use their own judgement.

Has there been any conclusion to Kysterama's question about 'most' movies being widescreen format, hence the final submission images can be a widescreen resoultion? It just seems a bit silly for it not to be widscreen.

Or are we just letterboxing and adding some borders in?

Cheers

p.s It took me soooooooooo long to read this thread :P

That's completely up to the judges What I've answered so far will be outlined in their guidelines, but something as contextual as the contents of each image will only be judged by each individual member of the judges panel

Letterboxing is fine.

How you apply them to your assets and props is completely up to you. It'd be easier for the judges to see all textures collated into a 4096, for the final submission, so please do stick them all in a single image, when it comes time to posting them in the submissions thread (coming soon!).

Cheers guys.

The image submission thread will be up at some point over the next couple of days. You'd do it there
