3dshay your stuff looks pretty good. I have only one comment on the portfolio. your image cv5.jpg (the house exterior) I noticed that on the left side of the shot the deck seems to be floating above the support posts, however on the right side they seem to be resting flush with each other. Would be a pretty quick fix. Also you may want to consider adjusting the grass color. Just seems weird that it's a faded green for quite a distance around the house, but then the grass gets a lot darker and just seems more natural than what the house is resting on.
Other than that, your portfolio looks pretty good. My fav would have to be the living room set. The render came out really good. Last edited by NajumAnwar; 15-03-2009 at 01:10 AM. |

Firstly, Flash; It's horrible. Don't use it. See the replies to every other flash portfolio thread here for the reasons why.
Secondly, for a character artist there is more non-character art than there is character art, which seems quite contradictory. You might want to pull everything that's not a character to make it more obvious that's your focus. Also, the characters you do have up there aren't particularly sound in proportions or anatomy. There's a lot of inaccuracies. I'd recommend doing some studies of proportion, anatomy and form, both on paper and in 3D. There are no wireframes, polycounts, texture flats... anything. It's very hard to tell if any of the models have been built correctly or if they're a mess. And everything that's there is presented differently which gives a very chaotic and unorganised feel to the folio in general. |

Hello ,
I've already created and uploaded that , its a simple flash page , I didn't receive a problem from visitors. I need to show all of my works because I've sent many thread on many sites and I got many different clients for each 3d category. Thank you , Please send me some links about anatomy and etc , I'm trying my best , no one is perfect brother. yeap , you are right , for game industry , its a must to have the wire frames , I'll try to add asap. Thanks for your advice , but this folio makes a lot of money for me , I dont know why you feel chaotic and unorganised , as a 3d artist I've done many different projects for my clients and they are really happy with each different result . |
