Hey guys!

I am working on making the jump from being in the commercial / film side of 3D to gaming and haven't got many examples of low poly art to show yet.
I'm hoping to get in as an entry level prop/environment artist, but Ill be stoked to even be a tester!


Some of the things that I'm already aware of are -

The characters need to show wire frames
The texture maps should be shown
I need a Resume posted

The reason for this not being displayed is that I no longer work for some of the companies were they were produced and really don't have access to such things anymore.

Ive tried to keep this so that the number of clicks to my work is left at a minimum and it stays as simple as possible. Anyhow, soon I will be updating with low poly models, but I just finished putting this together and wanted to have it picked apart so that I could build it back up even stronger.

very nice. how did you get that layout on wordpress. did you use custom code? i dont think i have access to it on my acct

Thanks Nistrum-
No special code was used to do this, just a little mix of basic html and Photoshop work.
The theme is available through their site on one of the main pages I believe.

Thought about re-designing my own, and will be using a similar colour-theme

So I'm thinking the props that I already have would be nice to see done low poly, so tonight I most likely will be modeling the low version of the Chinese entryway for texture baking.

I always see positions open for environment modelers on the job boards, but almost never do I see a posting for a "props" modeler.
Is this not a true position on most studios?
Are props just modeled by everyone?

I kind of figured as much,and hope to have some new stuff to show in the next day or two.

Anyone who wants to completely rip my portfolio apart would be very welcome as well. I'm def looking for some more crits.
