Personally, as a person without access to a nice new computer, your website is slow, and clunky. The actual design is nice, but I really don't like Flash websites as it makes it hard for people to save pictures of your work, and download your demo reels and such things. I couldn't even see your portfolio as it wouldn't load.
So not much to say about your work until I can view it. ![]() |

I would get rid of the black dots they draw your vision off to the side. The site took a good bit of time to load for me and I am on both a good PC and fast connection. I would think the about, contact and various info page could all be one. Maybe not the way they are currently laid out but if all that info could be streamlined info a single page (best to call it contact me) it would be a lot better IMO. The work its self is very nice!

First of all, I felt that you used the background very poorly and I think you could probably fit in some pictures in the background. Besides that your information you provided like the thesis and about me page were a really nice addition. Overall, all your website needs is a little graphical tweaking and optimization for slower computers.

Thank you so much to all of you!
Points taken... back to work! I'll really try to improve those download times. People who viewed it here didn't seem to have problems so good to know it's not always running smoothly! No point having a website nobody can see cause it takes ages to load! ![]() So once again: THANKS! |

Your site is okay, its not very visually appealing to me. To me a site should be fairly basic, yet obviously illustrate your understanding of design principles. Your art should speak for itself. The site should not distract from your work. I wouldnt have my videos load in the same window as my other art because the other aspects of the site can be distracting to the viewer. Giving them a much quicker chance to change to something else.
Other notes: The dots have to go. Your demo reel is too long. Keep it short no more than 45 seconds, and show your best stuff. The kids running over and over again is too repetitive. You cloth sim work is okay. But you need more variety. You have too much info in front of each segment, narrow it down. Not everyone is going to pause the video to read that and take the info down. Some, not all. Good luck. |

I don't think Ive ever seen something on the web hurt my eyes more....
Seriously, those dots have to go, I had to close the window and wipe my eyes after looking at that. The work on the site isnt bad, but its honestly very difficult for me to even keep the window open with those dots screaming at me. Tone it wayyy down, and maybe look back over the color choices of your menus. |
