First image is vague. Did you model and texture all of that? Be specific.
The resume says you've worked on some projects, but doesn't entail what you did. For example “GRAW: I was contracted to make several textures for <insert detailed description of what you did within a couple sentences>.” Put some time lines in here so employers know when and how long you worked on projects. Be honest, but don't belittle yourself or your abilities. For example, instead of the first line you have that, go with something like “I am a texture artist with experience in 3d modeling. The bulk of my work has been freelance, and I've consulted for...” The samples on Flanker and GRAW are fine, but again very vague and small blurry images. Always credit specifically what you did and did not do. Example “all models and textures by Ubisoft, scope texture by me” Past those samples, everything is either too dark, looks unfinished, blurry and/or just plain too vague to understand what you're presenting. I'd suggest cutting back to around eight to ten samples of only your best work, try to get some higher quality images, flats would be nice since you're a texture artist, and a little more info on exactly what you did. |

Thanks for the advice, I wasn't too sure on how to do it... as far as the pics... that's formatting for PDF..
As for the pics.... that's unfortunately the best I can get. The Flanker ones are from years ago, and the GRAW ones... I don't have Alienware ![]() Last edited by EricJ563; 10-01-2006 at 01:25 PM. |
