I like your high poly work better, the two vehicles in particular are impressive. Nice surfaces on the car. You seem to be kind of on the fence about whether you want to do film or game art am I right? I'd get that figured out so you can focus on just your high poly or just your game art. Either path could work for you, although I think your game art needs some updating with more challenging and interesting objects. A really nice mid-poly count tree or a very complex barn with stables etc would really round you out imo. A bit more organic stuff with more challenging textures would really help get a stronger feel for your abilities. Solid stuff so far though, keep pumping it out.

I have thought about doing purely high poly work that could be used to film/television, but my real passion is computer games. I know, currently my game art section is much weaker then the high poky (as suggested by a few other people), which is why I'm holding off applying for jobs until I get more work on there.
Currently I'm working on one urban environment, which will be the setting for the Royal Exchange building, which I think should be a very challenging task to push my skills as a game artist further. Thanks all for the comments and support folks ![]() |
