PaperPolyPixel.com - My portfolio

Hi guys,
I'm trying to make this site as easy to use as possible, so any ideas to further flatten the folio would be greatly appreciated.

cheers!

I actually quite like your little nice left and right column menus, nice work on those. I guess the only thing I could say is that your probably making your main table a lot thinner then it really needs to be, although I can understand that being a style choice. But it might not feel so condensed if you widened it up a bit, might allowed for some bigger screenies.

The table really isn't that wide, especially with the border being so big.

I get an error with your page, have you tested it on several browsers?

It says that internet explorer could not open the page, and that it aborted the operation.

Yeah its very hit and miss with IE. I suspect its the Ajax which isn't playing well with something IE reads differently. I'll check it out.
Oddly enough, just refreshing it after that 'could not open the page' error is thrown fixes everything.

Would anyone experience with js know what the problem could be?

Hmm, doesn't seem to fix it for me though. Gee.. IE really is an annoying browser.. but can't stop using it as I got used to the UI and like the design of it

Hmm, about the portfoliopage... From what I could see those times it flashes before it seemd to be a good-looking one

About the js.. I couldn't really seem to find anything that seemd odd at all.. then again.. I'm not a js coder ^^ But why not try deleting a js script temporarily.. throw it up in IE and have a look.. if it works, then that's the script causing the trouble.. if it still doesn't work... then add the deleted one and try deleting another script

Btw, nice name ya got.. I just happen to be named Adam myself

Cheers

I love the fact that you have a youtube reel up (or a fast loading online one anyway). I think if some people don't see awesome pics, they definitely won't download the 100mb+ reel that a lot of people have. Nice going!

Thanks a stack guys! This IE issue is still something I haven't had a chance to deal with yet. I'll post when its sorted.

Shadow71: I had a play with the div width, and it really irked me. I'll post some screenshots when I get back home, as I've a sneaking suspicion that I've just become accustomed to the restricted, vertical nature of the site.

Once again, thanks for the crits guys! Hard feedback is what's gotten me to this level. I'm excited about where I'll be in a year or two.

OKAY! I got that IE issue sorted (I think!). It turns out that IE will cry if a javascript attempts to alter an HTML document's body before it loads the information completely. FYI, lightboxv2 caused this.
To fix, I moved it to the base of the body.
