really nice actually but you have to think about what the reason for your portfolio is. if its supposed to help you get a job you should focus it even more on the certain position youre aiming for. what i mean is that if youre aiming for environment artist then you might want to replace the 2d designs by game texture work and moving the less game relevant stuff to another part of the page (or down to the bottom of the page or on a different page).

Keep it up!
the scrollbars should now be gone at a resolution of 1280x1024, but with small screens the scrollbar can not be avoided. of course it is possible, but that would mean i would have to shift a couple of things around and i am pretty pleased with the result so far, so i am going to keep it like it is for now.

You say you have some problems with the navigation bar? can't you read the text because of the quality of the pictures?

you are right, that is something i am still thinking of, how to present it in the best way. so pleas consider them placeholders for the moment. Right now i am thinking of making another website for the 2d graphics and my webdesign stuff and replacing the current 2d graphics with some of the textures i made a while ago and maybe some decals i have. i am just not sure whether i will benefit from those old things . perhaps i will keep them in for now, while i work on some new 2d graphics like textures.

oke, another question.

i have added a texture to the 2d graphics section, but i am not sure if this is a good way to present a texture.

what do you think?

the first pages are up and running, so now it is time for me to get back to work and create some new artwork to fill the empty spaces.

I want to thank everyone who has helped me make this a good portfolio/design!

the portfolio is now running from my main domain: http://www.swartsz.com

Looking good Joost!

Makes me realise more and more that I have to rewamp my site one of these days, heck I haven't even added in any of the new models I've made in the last year..lol

But then again I ain't aiming towards getting a job doing 3D, for me it's just a hobby thing.
