You're off to a decent start but I think you could improve it a lot.
In general, people don't mind scrolling for information (infact, apparently, they prefer scrolling to clicking a link to a new page) but if what they want isn't right there, first thing they see then usually people will click away. Try moving the models and contact details up to the top of the page. Your work (which is the main feature of the site) is hiding off-screen, down the bottom. It wasn't apparent to me when I looked that you had any work on there and I've got quite a high screen res. You should crop your thumbnails properly rather than just resizing them down to a square. There's some very obvious distortion going on. Adding wires and polycounts and texture sizes for all your models would probably be a good idea, too. Maybe along with some selected texture flats. I think you could make them a bit bigger, too. I'd also expand upon your objective a little. Be more specific about what kind of work you want to do in the industry. |

Name (banner) and picture take up too much space at the top. In fact, replace all that with your work (currently at the bottom of the page). Then have your About section with contact information under your name.
You don’t really need the “Note” section, and under POD replaced skinner with texture artist. In a professional environment, skinning refers to animation and texture artist refers to texturing. |
