there is only one render on it, and the thumbnail only links to a page not found.
I don't actually see any blue on it at all. You should make the speed modelling renders more noticeable: a simple text link at the bottom of the page isn't very noticeable (and atm they are the only things in the page). The speed modelling things are quite good- put them on the front page of your site (until you get more stuff on it at least) |

I second what these guys have said
1) The Level design link goes nowhere. 2) The renders in your 3d modelling section are too dark and have no poly count info or anything else to tell us what they were created for. 3) I've attached images that show where the jpegs on your homepage have issues with the background colour. They need a 'buffer zone' of pixels around the outside that match the bg colour, so the seams don't show. Hope this helps |

Hey I looked at your site, I agree the renders are too dark, but I have a couple hints for you since you are looking for a position as a 3D Modeler.
You should definately fix your level design link so that employers can see your work, it may not seem like a big thing, but having a link that has nowhere to go can hurt your portfolio, I would just take the link off until you have it updated. On your 3D Work, you should definately throw up a wireframe and polycount so that employers can see your polyflow, and texture them also, it adds to the presentation and also adds to your skill set making you more valuable to you company. You have some very impressive pieces, keep adding more to your website. I would love to see your gun textured and normal mapped! ![]() - Zach

OK thanks alot guys!
@tigger Your looking at my old site, try and refresh it. @Pankake Will Do @monkeyboygarth You think just making the edges transparant with a GIF ot PNG will work? @desertfox I like vertical :P @Mr.Senator Thanks alot! Maybe just some smaller renders underneath the ones i already have with a wireframe? So the blue/purple looks ok? Anyway thanks alot, ill update it ASAP

Yeah you could do some smaller renders if you want for the wireframes, as long as the employers can see what it is you have done.
For example, in my website (Gallery) I have huge pictures when you click on the prop, but it shows the final textured prop, the normaled model, and the wireframe as well as all the textures. But there are other ways you could do it also, on my friends website (Judd Roy | Environment / Prop Artist) it has a small picture with everything on it also. Also you could check Ben Mathis' website out, he has worked on several titles in the industry (Ben Mathis - Freelance Artist) and he has an interesting way of laying out everything. It all depends on what you want the look and feel of the website, but definitely add a wireframe and polycount if nothing else, because that at least shows how you modeled it, and how efficiently you did it. ![]() As for the colors, I think they look fine, maybe just tone down the white glow on top of your name just a bit. Your name is still readable, and it isn't really a big deal, but it might look better if you tone it down. Hope this helps too! Keep up the good work! ![]() - Zach
