Nice work, shame about forcing flash onto anyone interested in viewing your site.
I'd go with swapping out the "normal" version (I'd rephrase this if you're keeping it, because "normal" doesn't mean anything unless you've already clicked on the link) for a barebones HTML version, for those of us that like to open images to tabs, save images and navigate websites with standard browser features like the nav buttons and without load screens. Those of us = 95% of your potential audience.

Take out the software versions in the programs listed under your skills. You work with Photoshop, not Photoshop CS4; just as you work with Maya not Maya <version number+type>. Also, you say you have skills with motion graphics and Maya but you give no indication of that through the media you provide in your gallery. That's something to keep in mind so you can prepare responses to questions about that if you're looking for a new job.
Only other things I can think of to strengthen your portfolio would be for you to give an ability for us to look at individual pieces of your work outside of your website in the form of a direct image link and for larger copies of your images to be available. I work with dual 1920x1200 monitors and most of your images are smaller than command prompt windows I keep open. It'd also be great if you could go backwards and forwards while looking through Shadowbox. Granted, you've got a job so it's up to you on whether you act on that or not. |
