Got some data from Unreal Tournament 2004. I browsed animations in UnrealED 3.0 copied some polycounts:
1st Person Weapons (no arms): Assault Rifle - 573 polygons Link Gun - 1184 poylgons Shock Rifle - 1084 poylgons 3rd Person Weapons (no arms): Assault Rifle - 581 polygons Link Gun - 492 poylgons Shock Rifle - 593 poylgons Vehicles: Scorpion - 3221 polygons Manta - 2329 polygons Raptor - 1910 polygons Characters: Jakob - 3279 polygons Mr. Crow - 2927 polygons Mercenary Female - 2606 polygons Egypt Female - 2554 polygons

Interesting read, thanks for sharing. Looks like you received a large quantity of polycounts, but another thing i would definitly add is the importance of the mesh. Key models can have more tris than unimpotant meshes (comparatively then). This is probably one of those vague things, but it can come in handy when you know the polycount of other props / characters in the scene...
