Correct. Its a real time strategy and we wanted to avoid the usual storylines - global conflict or good versus evil... We're taking the story of romeo and juliet but concentrating on the fued between the two houses.
Thats just one thing that makes this project interesting

If there are any good animators out there - our modeler is willing to create the model, for someone else to animate - sound good to anyone?

OK sure ill have a try, I can rig the model but my animation skills are not so great but I can try.
The style of this? Is cartoony like the picture? My normal maps are not so great either if you need me to do fur.

I use Maya so any models will need to be in OBJ format,

Great, thanks very much
Certainly for now we don't require a sophisticated normal map to simulate fur. A simple flat texture, and simple normal map will be fine.
Did you want me to provide you with the model as an obj file or would you like to create the model from the beginning yourself?
The style of the model should be according to the picture, which is strongly inspired by the style of the lion king and watership down...

Ahh I'm sorry goose,
With GA being down ive lost the time i would of spent doing this model, so I guess im not gonna be able to get it done. Sorry to get your hopes up, I really regret letting you down.

Okay - its dissapointing, but no point dwelling on it
I'll repost this next week as we have our first playable version of the game planned for release then.
