UT40K : The Chosen: SANCTUM IMPERIALIS: Building/Wall Set: ------------------------------------------------------------- Tri-Count:300-400 polys per section Sub-Models: Wall sections plus accessories Special Requirements: Air tight model ------------------------------------------------------------- Texture Size: 512 - UT2004 / 1024 - UT3 Texture Maps: Diffuse + Normal RGB Values: na Special Requirements: unique for UT3 (unreal engine 3) ------------------------------------------------------------- Links to similar assets: GW Online : Warhammer 40,000 : Cityfight : Cities of Death Product Gallery Link to Reference Material: (ZIP/ RAR file preferred) ------------------------------------------------------------- Do not forget to attach a thumbnail, jpg or gif. Otherwise the thread will be deleted. Use "Manage Attachments" below. Ok to clear things up, what's needed is a set of staticmesh wall sections which can be used to build the building in the pic, here's a link to the model sprue so you can see the sections that are needed model sprue

I'm replying to this thread just to say that I am having a wee attempt at modeling what you need. Please bear in mind I am doing this as an entertainment thing, not as a full time mod-job request. I will send over what I have when I am finished, for you to use as you wish. My knowledge of the 40k universe is pretty decent, so I won't be adding 'unrealistic' embellishments. DiabeticUK sent me some meshes before he had to bow out, so i've spent the last few evenings doing the first set of uvw maps and quick textures, so here are a few pics of the meshes in my testing map.

I might be interested in doing this, it looks like an interesting building. What's it from? I have extensive knowledge of Maya as well as importing/exporting stuff, but I haven't played with UT3 yet. Could you give any details on what you mean by UT3 specific? Couldn't the mesh be made in Maya then imported into UT3? Anyway, I've got some time available to do this in, I've done something reasonably similar here Portfolios | Environments | levelrender
Give me some details regarding what reference you have available for this model, so I can gauge how long this would take me. |

Thanks for your interest thanoz, the only refs i have are linked in the first post, since i now have UT3 i can now say we can up the poly count (500-1000) on each section and the textures should be 1024, as for exporting to unreal you'll need the actorx plug-in, depending which maya version your using eg maya2008 doesn't have a working plug-in so it would be better to export via obj/fbx/dae formats.

geo. ill do it gor you. i need some env work on my reel. ill gladly do it for you on the grounds i can use the work in my reel. should only take a day or so send me the spes and any information on how you want it done and ill tie it all in for you.

Hey Geo, I was in a GW store yesterday, and my friend pointed to the Cityfight buildings on the table and said I should do them. I remembered this thread and figured I'd do it. I was going to do them for UE3 tho, are you still working on UE2.5?
