Thats a good advice, I think I'll play around with that method instead of me gathering up all the stuff the normal map needs in one go. Makes sence that you specialize several maps and then combine them.

great start so far. I'd up the spec on the tiles a bit to match the table a bit closer, right now the tiles seem ooold, while the table shape and everything seems rather modern (although used).

looking forward to more of this, should be very nice.

As a main centerpiece the autopsy table look a bit dull. Considering you want to convey the mood of creepy I believe the autopsy table is a bit too futuristic. The metal doesn't feel like tha kind of metal normally found on autopsy tables, the kind of flexible metal that has a very smooth surface.

I think the idea need some edge for it to have a chance of winning.

Good Luck!

I would have to disagree, I think this is looking great. Love the table, took me a while to realise why it had that tree shaped groove on the surface. Icky

Hahah. No need to worry. I’m pretty eager to get a submission together for this one, however time hasn’t exactly been on my side lately.

The last thing I worked on for this was some wall textures, but looking back on them now, I see that I have way too many “hotspots” in them, so I need to get that fixed. (Too many obvious repeating details)

I might even scrap the whole “modular wall” thingy I originally set out to do and just make my walls models with some extra detail on them instead of just flat planes, and then unwrap them and treat them like regular models/props instead.

Here's my testrender of the textures;

I like your work! I thought mayber you should add a counter with a Mr. Coffee just to maybe add a bit of humor to the scene, also maybe a drain in the floor. Nice work so far!

A sandwich on the table. Maybe Turkey and Swiss?

I am really liking this creepy/dirty style. Keep up the good work.

I would recommend modeling a bone saw, if you are doing an autopsy table. That instrument is quite scary, in my opinion.
